Lead difficult conversations

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare, facilitate and lead difficult conversations.

The unit applies to individuals who may work as managers and leaders, and are required to lead difficult conversations in the workplace. They contribute well developed verbal and relationship building skills in having difficult conversations.

This unit is dedicated to imparting the essential skills and knowledge needed to adeptly prepare for, facilitate, and take the lead in challenging conversations. These conversations can encompass a range of delicate topics and may arise in various workplace contexts. They often require a high degree of interpersonal finesse, empathy, and effective communication. This unit is particularly pertinent to individuals in managerial and leadership roles who are often entrusted with the responsibility of guiding difficult discussions within the workplace. Successfully managing these interactions demands well-honed verbal and relationship-building skills. It enables these professionals to navigate complex or sensitive topics while maintaining a constructive and respectful dialogue, contributing to a harmonious and solution-focused work environment.

The course is completed in two (2) full days. 

Course participants can attend this course in-person, on client site or on a Pro Leaders’ Training Centre, or virtually via live streaming.  Pro Leaders’ Training Centres can provide a blended approach that allows course participants to either attend the same course virtually or in-person.
