BSBSS00109 Introduction to Team Management Skill Set

This skill set addresses the skills and knowledge required for an individual entering a team management role within an organisation.

This skill set is specifically designed to provide individuals with the essential skills and knowledge necessary as they embark on a team management role within an organisation. As they transition into these positions, the responsibilities shift from individual tasks to leading and supervising a team. This program equips them with the foundational competencies to effectively oversee and motivate their team members, allocate resources, set goals, and drive collaborative efforts towards achieving organisational objectives. It also addresses the nuances of effective communication, conflict resolution, and leadership, enabling these individuals to navigate the challenges of team dynamics. By providing the required skill set for those entering team management roles, this program ensures a smoother transition into leadership positions and positions them to make a positive impact within their organisation from day one.

• BSBXTW401 – Lead and facilitate a team
• BSBPMG534 – Manage project human resources

Completion of this skill set contributes to BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management.

The course is completed in four (4) full days. 

Course participants can attend this course in-person, on client site or on a Pro Leaders’ Training Centre, or virtually via live streaming.  Pro Leaders’ Training Centres can provide a blended approach that allows course participants to either attend the same course virtually or in-person.
