Stakeholder Engagement for Project Managers

This 2-day course is designed to develop strategies to communicate effectively with a focus on engaging effectively with stakeholders.

It will investigate the various stakeholder engagement strategies and how to effectively use them in the workplace, particularly within a project environment and will show how conflicts can be effectively managed by communicating with stakeholders.

This course consists of theory, practical exercises and a video recording of the practical exercises that will be emailed to the participant for review and reference.

This course is ideal for people who are:

• Project Officers
• Project Administrators
• Project Managers
• Program Managers

This course is an AQF Accredited course, and upon satisfactory completion of this course, course participants will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment for the following Units of Competency:

• BSBPMG538 – Manage project stakeholder engagement

Satisfactory completion includes daily attendance of the course, completion of both classroom and individual assessment, and contribution towards discussions and group work.

The course is completed over two (2) consecutive full days.

Course participants can attend this course in-person, on client site or on a Pro Leaders’ Training Centre, or virtually via live streaming.  Pro Leaders’ Training Centres can provide a blended approach that allows course participants to either attend the same course virtually or in-person.

Specific Requirements

No formal education required, however some exposure to projects within a commercial environment is preferred.

Course participants must have a functional level of English and have the capacity for independent learning and group work.
