Project Management Fundamentals

This 2-day course provides a practical understanding of the project management disciplines at a foundation level and will provide an overview of the project management lifecycle that is based on the best practice of project management and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). 

This course will provide practical tools and techniques that can be applied immediately in the workplace, with only the essential information on what is involved in managing projects. 

This course is ideal for people who are:

• New to projects
• Project Officers
• Project Administrators
• Project Schedulers
• Project stakeholders

This course is a non-Accredited course, and upon satisfactory completion of this course, course participants will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion. 

Satisfactory completion includes daily attendance of the course, completion of both classroom and individual activities, and contribution towards discussions and group work. 

The course is completed over two (2) consecutive full days. 

Course participants can attend this course in-person, on client site or on a Pro Leaders’ Training Centre, or virtually via live streaming.  Pro Leaders’ Training Centres can provide a blended approach that allows course participants to either attend the same course virtually or in-person.

Specific Requirements

No formal education required, however some exposure to projects within a commercial environment is preferred.

Course participants must have a functional level of English and have the capacity for independent learning and group work.
