This interactive 3-day course will be led by an experienced probity advisor and facilitator and is based on the best practice approach to probity advisory with practical activities based on realistic examples, case studies, and facilitator-led discussions. It will provide a hands-on approach to identify, implement, monitor, and report probity issue and risks, and will teach you practical skills to provide ethical leadership and to take responsibility for good probity practices within the public sector.   

This course is ideal for those with some government procurement experience and have some responsibilities within a procurement activity, including:

• Procurement Officers
• Procurement Managers
• Contract Officers
• Contract Managers
• Probity Advisors

Upon satisfactory completion of this Nationally Recognised Training course, course participants will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment for the following Unit of Competency:

• PSPETH010 – Lead and influence ethical practice in the public sector

Satisfactory completion of this course will include daily attendance of the course, completion of both classroom and final assessment, and active contribution towards discussions and group work. 

The course is completed over three (3) consecutive full days. 

This course is a facilitator-led course that is offered in-person at a Pro Leaders’ Training Centre and/or virtually via live streaming. 

Currently, there is no self-paced option for this course.   

Specific Requirements

Course participants should have at least 18 months of government procurement experience, or the completion of the PSP40616 Certificate in Procurement and Contracting qualification or higher. 

General Requirements

Course participants must have a functional level of English and have the capacity for independent learning and group work.
