This qualification is ideal for project team leaders and project team members wishing to advance their skills to the level of a Project Manager.
The Diploma of Project Management covers generic project management theories and methodologies that are based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and follows the project management lifecycle from project planning and governance considerations through to project implementation and project completion. This course will include activities, assignments, and case studies to simulate real processes and industry best practice.
This qualification is ideal for project team leaders and project team members wishing to advance their skills to the level of a Project Manager. You will gain the skills to oversee the management of projects to meet the strategic goals and objectives of the organisation. It will provide a theoretical understanding of project management and practical tools and skills for implementation in the workplace.
This course is endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and is recognised as meeting the competency requirements of a Project Manager. Upon the satisfactory completion of this qualification, you will automatically be recognised for AIPM’s Registered Project Manager (RegPM) certification as a Certified Practising Project Practitioner (CPPP).

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, course participants will be awarded with the BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management qualification.
Satisfactory completion includes daily attendance of the course, completion of both classroom and individual assessment, and contribution towards discussions and group work.
Classroom training is delivered over ten (10) full days, generally over three blocks of training, within a 2-3 month period.
Course participants can attend this course in-person, on client site or on a Pro Leaders’ Training Centre, or virtually via live streaming. Pro Leaders’ Training Centres can provide a blended approach that allows course participants to either attend the same course virtually or in-person.
For those with experience and/or related prior learning, we offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Specific Requirements
At least 12 months of experience working in projects is required AND/OR hold the Certificate IV in Project Management Practice.
General Requirements
Course participants must have a functional level of English and have the capacity for independent learning and group work.
