PSP40616 Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting course is ideal for those wanting to understand the processes involved in procuring in Government.
The Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting is ideal for professionals wanting to gain a practical understanding of how government procurement and contract management can be implemented, particularly with the execution of the tendering process from planning the tender through to the evaluation of tender outcomes. It will teach the essentials skills and knowledge of contract management, particularly when a preferred tenderer has been selected and provide an understanding of how to effectively manage the vendor/supplier to ensure that contract performance is maintained.
This course is ideal for those wanting to gain a clear understanding of the processes involved in procuring in Government, with extensive information about the relevant Government legislation and policy framework to ensure professionals understand their obligations and responsibilities when procuring for Government.

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, course participants will be awarded with the PSP40616 Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting qualification.
Satisfactory completion includes daily attendance of the course, completion of both classroom and individual assessment, and contribution towards discussions and group work.

Specific Requirements
Minimum of 6 months of working experience in the Australian Government, with some exposure to government procurement and/or contract management.
General Requirements
