The Advanced Diploma of Government qualification is aimed at the leadership or senior roles in the public sector, generally at the EL2 to SES classifications, or equivalent.
The Advanced Diploma of Government qualification is aimed at the leadership or senior roles in the public sector, generally at the EL2 to SES classifications, or equivalent. At this level, you will have supervisory responsibilities, or you have responsibilities to delivery outcomes. You will be leading such things as organisational change, influencing ethical practices, and ensuring that the public service adopts supportive and inclusive workplace practices.
This course will focus on security awareness and will develop your skills in identifying and assessing fraudulent and corrupt activities. You will learn to facilitate knowledge management as part of resource and information management, and you will learn to develop your strategic direction to ensuring the public has confidence in the public service’s ability.

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, course participants will be awarded with the PSP60122 Advanced Diploma of Government qualification.
Satisfactory completion includes daily attendance of the course, completion of both classroom and individual assessment, and contribution towards discussions and group work.
Classroom training is delivered over twelve (12) full days, generally over four blocks of training, within a 2-3 month period.
Course participants can attend this course in-person, on client site or on a Pro Leaders’ Training Centre, or virtually via live streaming. Pro Leaders’ Training Centres can provide a blended approach that allows course participants to either attend the same course virtually or in-person.
For those with experience and/or related prior learning, we offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Specific Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of Australian Government experience in a manager or executive position, with exposure to government procurement AND/OR holds a Diploma of Government.
General Requirements
Course participants must have a functional level of English and have the capacity for independent learning and group work.
