BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management

This qualification is designed to give individuals strategic skills required to take leadership to the next level and it is ideal for those who are looking to pursue a management or supervisory role by recognising and enhancing your current knowledge and skills to become the leader you aspire to be.

This course is offered in the following methods of delivery:
  • Classroom training (eleven (11) full days to complete course); and
  • Recognition of Prior Learning.

This course consists of four (4) required units and eight (8) elective units:

Required Units:
  • BSBLDR501 – Develop and use emotional intelligence;
  • BSBMGT517 – Manage operational plan;
  • BSBLDR502 – Lead and manage effective workplace relationships;
  • BSBWOR502 – Lead and manage team effectiveness.
Elective Units:
  • BSBPMG522 – Undertake project work;
  • BSBRSK501 – Manage risk;
  • BSBMGT516 – Facilitate continuous improvement;
  • BSBMGT502 – Manage people performance;
  • BSBADM502 – Manage meetings;
  • BSBPMG522 – Undertake project work;
  • BSBSUS501 – Develop workplace policy and procedures for sustainability;
  • BSBWOR501 – Manage personal work priorities and professional development;
Entry Requirement

Must be at least 20 years of age, have a functional level of English, have some relevant work experience, have the capacity for independent learning and group work.
